BRIOHNY DAY – B.App.Sc (Physio), APAM

Director

Briohny grew up in the Shire and had achieved success in a number of sports here and overseas before becoming a physiotherapist in 2004. She is a highly experienced therapist with special interests in sports injury rehabilitation, management of orthopaedic conditions and fast return to maximum fitness.Briohny became a partner in this practice in 2015.

CLEM RINGSTAD – B.APP.SC (PHYSIO.), DIP.APP.SC (NURS.), APAM 

Director
Clem brings over 25 years of experience to the physiotherapy profession.
He has a strong patient focus which has been acquired from working in many clinical settings and with elite teams both here and abroad.
Clem’s passion is helping people to get moving again in a functional and practical way.
When not at work , Clem is a passionate outdoor adventure enthusiast.

BRUCE OVERTON – B.App.Sc (Physio), B.Sc. Dip.Ed

Director

Bruce is the founding partner and has a comprehensive interest in the physiotherapy profession.
He is involved in injury prevention education in the health profession and his current focus is the resolution of shoulder problems and the return of post operative patients to their full capabilities in the minimum time.

ELYSE MCLENNAN – Bachelor of Physiotherapy, APAM

Senior Physiotherapist

Elyse graduated from the University of Canberra, completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Distinction.

Elyse has gained clinical experience working in a number of areas of physiotherapy including musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory in ICU, and neurological rehabilitation.

She has developed a keen interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy and has worked alongside multiple orthopaedic surgeons in the Sutherland Shire and St George region.

Elyse is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and enhancing their quality of life. She has a personable nature and uses a combination of education, manual therapy, and targeted exercise prescription, incorporating the best available evidence into her treatments.

Elyse believes keeping active is key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Elyse is a black belt in Karate and has instructed both children and adult classes. She also enjoys training at the gym. Outside of physiotherapy, Elyse is a singer/songwriter and performs at many venues.

She is available for appointments at both the Caringbah and the Bundeena premises.

Louise Quiggin – B.App.Sc (Physio), B.Med.Sc, DRM, APAM

Senior Physiotherapist

Louise has been fascinated by holistic health, wellbeing and movement/ exercise since she was a teenager. Louise completed her Bachelor of Medical Science and a Diploma of Remedial Massage before completing her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2002. Louise was drawn to Physiotherapy due to its’ focus on assisting clients to regain their quality of life after injury or illness, through symptom management, restoring healthy movement and teaching clients how to care for their body and wellbeing.

Louise has a wide range of Physiotherapy experience including rehabilitation, exercise prescription (particularly strength and pilates training), pain management, post-surgical, chronic care, aged care/deconditioning, falls-prevention, neurological, chest physiotherapy, Telehealth and some continence training.

Louise has considerable experience with clients with chronic respiratory and cardiac conditions and finds strength training, pilates exercises and stretches extremely helpful for assisting with breathlessness, posture and the musculoskeletal concerns that often accompany chronic medical conditions or age-related deconditioning. Louise completed formal Pilates teacher training with APPI in 2021.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys skiing, indoor rock-climbing, yoga, pilates, gym, travelling and spending time in nature with her young daughter, husband and giant dog.

Louise is available at both our Bundeena and Caringbah locations.
